Purfleet people! We need you to be a part of something special…
Something exciting is coming to Purfleet-on-Thames – and you could be right at the heart of it.
Theatre experts Teatro Vivo have joined forces with local residents to create The Myths of the Marshes – a completely unique outdoor theatre show filled with fascinating stories from the area’s rich history and folklore, taking place on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June.
This interactive, family-friendly performance follows the descendant of Dracula author Bram Stoker on a quest for inspiration for her next novel. Along the way, the audience will help uncover strange and wonderful tales – from ghostly dancers to rebellious sailors, singing queens and more. But beware – a mysterious stranger could throw the whole journey off course…
And here’s where you come in.
Teatro Vivo is looking for people of all ages to get involved in the show. Whether you fancy acting, dancing, singing, songwriting, or working behind the scenes, there’s a place for you.
Rehearsals will take place on Saturdays throughout May and June at St Stephen’s Church, London Road. No experience required – just a desire to get stuck in!
