Start Thurrock is seeking a dynamic Engagement Producer to join us as we take our creative programme into more neighbourhoods and towns in Thurrock and shape future phases of the community-led Start Thurrock programme.
This role is about making the programme happen. You will cultivate meaningful relationships between communities, creative practitioners and cultural organisations that lead to new cultural work that increases cultural engagement and raises expectations. You will bring fresh approaches to reaching and engaging communities, backed up with experience of facilitating public-led cultural programming.
Salary: £25,600 per annum (£32,000 FTE) for 4 days per week.
Hours: Part time, fixed term contract to 31 March 2026. Contract may be extended subject to Arts Council England funding for 2026 – 2029. We are committed to supporting flexible working conditions and hours.

You will bring strong administrative skills to support the Start Thurrock team, ensuring our operations, events and programme delivery runs smoothly. You’ll have experience in handling data and financial systems and believe in the value of art and culture in people’s lives and want to make a difference.
Salary: £15,000 per annum (£25,000 FTE) for 3 days per week.
Hours: Part time, fixed term contract to 31 March 2026. Contract may be extended subject to Arts Council England funding for 2026 – 2029. We are committed to supporting flexible working conditions and hours.
