Trainee Creative Producer

Start Thurrock is excited to offer a paid opportunity for someone who wants to begin a career in creative producing. This 6‑month traineeship is ideal for someone at the start of their creative career, someone considering a career change, or someone returning to work after a break.

As a Trainee Creative Producer, you will learn how creative projects and events are planned, produced, and delivered. You’ll gain hands-on experience by working alongside our team in outdoor venues, community settings, and public events. The traineeship includes:

  • On-the-job learning and mentoring
  • Mini work placements with creative partners
  • Opportunities to assist with real projects and events
  • The chance to produce a creative project, with guidance and support

Fee: £135 per day / 40 days

Hours: 1 – 2 days per week over 6 months, between May and October 2026. We are committed to supporting flexible working conditions and hours.

Closing date: 10am, Tuesday 7th April 2026

Interviews: Interviews will take place in-person on Tuesday 14th and Thursday 16th April 2026 at the Thameside Complex, Grays, RM17 5DX
